A Chronology of the Israelites

Chronology

Ca. 970 BCE Solomon becomes king of Israel – 1 Kings 2:12

“12 And Solomon sat upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established firmly.”

Ca. 932 BCE Solomon’s apostasy causes Yahwah to rend the Kingdom in two –

1 Kings 11:11 “11 Wherefore YHWH said unto Solomon: 'Forasmuch as this has been in thy mind, and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.”

Ca. 932 BCE Jeroboam is given the 10 northern tribes – 1 Kings 11:31

“31 And he said to Jeroboam: 'Take thee ten pieces; for thus saith YHWH, the God of Israel: Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee—“

Ca. 931 BCE Rehoboam becomes king and causes the prophesied split of the Kingdom- 1 Kings 12:15, 19

“15 So the king hearkened not unto the people; for it was a thing brought about of YHWH, that He might establish His word, which YHWH spoke by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

19 So Israel rebelled against the house of David, unto this day.”

Ca. 722 BCE The apostasy of the kings of Israel/Ephraim cause the northern ten tribes to go into captivity – 2 Kings 17:22, 23

“22 And the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;

23 until YHWH removed Israel out of His sight, as He spoke by the hand of all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria, unto this day.”

Ca. 587 BCE Sinful Judah also goes into captivity – 2 Kings 17:19, 20

“19 Also Judah kept not the commandments of YHWH their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they practiced.

20 And YHWH rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until He had cast them out of His sight.”

Ca. 538-15 BCE Cyrus decree and return of Judah under Ezra – Ezra 1:1, 3

“1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of YHWH by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, YHWH stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying:

3 Whosoever there is among you of all His people--his God be with him-let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of YHWH, the God of Israel, He is the God who is in Jerusalem.”

Ca. 70 CE Destruction of the 2nd temple and dispersal of Judah for the 2nd time –

Ca. 1948 CE On November 29, 1947, United Nations Resolution 181 was adopted by a vote of 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions. This resolution called for the partitioning of the land then known as Palestine, into two states, one Arab and the other Jewish. This led to the Jewish population of Palestine formally declaring independence May 14, 1948, thereby giving birth to the State of Israel. Just as the Cyrus decree of 538 BCE returned the Judeans/Jews to Israel, UN resolution 181 allowed the Hebrew Israelites/Judeans/Jews of this day to again establish Israel as a nation within the world community, in fulfilment of the prophetic words of the Prophets of Israel.

Ca. 1969 CE In December of this year, the first large group of African-Americans arrived at Ben Gurion airport from Liberia. They sought entry to Israel under the “Law of return” as returned Judeans/Jews. They were the vanguard of subsequent groups who returned to the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Many members of the following groups, did not view themselves as returned Jews, but as members of the so-called “lost tribes”. This represented the prophesied return of the Hebrew Israelites of Israel/Ephraim and the fulfillment of yet more of the words of the Prophets.

Ca. 2000 CE The Hebrew Israelites of Dimona and their various extensions, celebrate what they termed as “The Marriage of the Lamb”, August 7th of this year. This day marked the entering of the returned Israelites into a new Covenant with Yahwah, the God of Israel, according to the words of the Prophet Jeremiah, 31st chapter and the 28th-33rd verses. This covenant, as it is written, is with the returned houses of Israel and Judah, and marks the beginning of their reconciliation into one house of Israel.

Ca. 2003 CE All members of the Hebrew Israelites of Dimona and their various extensions within Israel are granted permanent residency status by the Israeli government, marking one more step towards reunification.

Ca. 2009 CE Minister Elyakeem Ben Yehuda becomes the first member of the Hebrew Israelites of Dimona and their various extensions within Israel, to receive Citizenship, marking one additional step forward in the reunification process.

Ca. 2014 The Non-Profit Organization “A New Day”, receives certification by the Israeli government. The charter of the organization brings all Hebrew Israelites within the scope of its activities, wherever they may be located. This is inclusive of all Jewish communities, who are also part of the Hebrew Israelite family, although not all Hebrew Israelites are Jewish.

It is important to note that at the time of the dispersal of Ephraim/Israel by the Assyrians in 723 BCE, there were two (2) independent Kingdoms in the land. Thus, with the return of Ephraim/Israel in this day, there are initially again two (2) independent kingdoms. This situation is spoken of by the Prophet Ezekiel in the 37th chapter. Ephraim and the other returned Israelites are not Judeans/Jews, nor will they become such, rather the opposite will occur; Jews will become Israelites!

"30 Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah;

31 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; forasmuch as they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, saith YHWH.

32 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith YHWH, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people;

34 Thus saith YHWH, Who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar, YHWH of hosts is His name:

35 If these ordinances depart from before Me, saith YHWH, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.

Jeremiah 31:30-32, 34,35
